Assemble at KLIA for flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in 

 Flight to Irkutsk, known as the “Heart of Siberia” and the “Russia’s Oriental Paris 

Irkutsk City Tour

Visit to Kazan Church (aka Church of Our Lady of Kazan), the construction works lasted for seven years with Byzantine style looks like a fairy tower. It known the Irkutsk’s largest church bell. Next to Spasskaya Church, the oldest stone building in Irkutsk. Continue to visit Epiphany Orthodox Cathedral and Angara River embankment. Visit the local Russian family house and enjoy the lunch. 

After lunch, transfer to direction Listvyanka. 

Taltsy Museum a wooden old Pre-Russian opened air architecture where you will learn the history of natives’ peoples of Siberia. 

Listvyanka City Tour

You will make the acquaintance with Baikal Lake, the deepest lake of the world with its 1637 meters of depth. This “Sacred Sea” is the biggest fresh water reserves in the world, one of the UNESCO’s World Natural Heritages. Visit to Baikal Museum, one of only three museums in the world dedicated solely to a lake. St. Nicolas Church and Fish Market. Enjoy the Dog-sledding by the Baikal huskies. In the evening, taking pictures of sunset from observation platform of Chersky peak by chairlift with picturesque panorama to Baikal Lake, famous Angara River issue and legendary Shaman stone.

Hovercraft Excursion 

Today you will have an excellent opportunity to see many beautiful sculptures made of transparently clear ice, crossing Lake Baikal by hovercraft “Khivus” from Listvyanka village to Khuzhir village with stops at the picturesque spots – Bolshoe Goloustnoe, Arch Cape, Sandy Bay famous for its caves, covered with splendid icicles. Stops for catching unique pictures of Baikal Lake ice treasures. 

Note: During ice excursions on Olkhon Island, toilet facilities may be limited due to its remote and natural environment. 

Northern Olkhon Island Excursion 

Explore northern of Olkhon Island with Russian 4 WD jeeps UAZ or new cars ROVERS driving on the ice of Baikal Lake and sightseeing ice caves and grottos located at some of the small Island in the Small Sea. Visit picturesque rocks “Three Brothers” and Cape Khoboy. Enjoy the picnic lunch on the campfire at a scenic spot you will continue the visit of Baikal ice kingdom. Walking on the Baikal Lake ice, you will take the pictures of crystal-clear blocks of Baikal’s hummocked ice ridge and icy rocks. Visit to the Arctic Station, Boro-boro, the first and only polar station in Lake Baikal.

Check out hotel and transfer by UAZ jeeps to mainland. Pick up by coach and continue of the road to visit Ethnographic Park of Buryat people, enjoy with Buryat folklore performance (throat singing, dances) and cooking master-class of making of national dish called “pozy or buuz” kind of dumplings with meat inside. After lunch, proceed to Decembrists Museum, the 19th century mansion with private classic music concert and champagne ceremony. 

 A bid farewell to Irkutsk, transfer to airport on our journey back home.
