Tiger's Nest: Bhutan's iconic cliffside monastery, perched 900m above Paro Valley. Built in 1692, it is said Guru Rinpoche flew here on a tigress to meditate and subdue demons. Visitors can hike or ride halfway, then continue on foot.
Drugyel Dzong: The “Fortress of Victory,” built by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1647 to commemorate his victory over the Mongol warlord Gushri Khan. A wonderful photo stop, rich with history.
