Lulang Alpine Pasture: Enjoy open grassland, river valley views, and the soft scenery of eastern Tibet.

Drepung Monastery Thangka Unveiling: Witness the Shoton Festival’s grand Buddha-unveiling ceremony, where a giant Shakyamuni Thangka is unfurled on the hillside as devotees gather in prayer. 

Norbulingka Tibetan Opera (electric cart included): Visit the former summer palace of the Dalai Lamas and experience Tibetan opera singing, masks, and dance culture. 

Special Arrangement for Buddha-Unveiling Viewing – Two Options –

Enjoy the full ceremony view comfortably from the hotel. 

Head to the mountain foot for a closer prayer experience. (A packed breakfast can be arranged by the hotel for early departure.) 

*Note: The ceremony usually starts around 5:00-6:00am. The hotel is approx. 1.7km from Drepung Monastery, allowing you to enjoy over an hour of extra rest before attending this spectacular annual event. 

Kampa La Pass Viewpoint: A scenic stop on the way to Yamdrok Lake, overlooking highland mountains and lake views.

Yamdrok Lake: One of Tibet’s three sacred lakes, and it surrounded by magnificent snow-capped mountains, vast grasslands and quiet villages, with picturesque scenery.

Karola Glacier: A roadside glacier landscape located between Shannan and Shigatse. 

Cuo E Lake: Located near Siling Lake, with plateau birdlife and layered lake scenery.

Siling Lake: One of the largest lakes on the Tibetan Plateau, known for its vast blue-green waters and northern Tibet scenery.

Namtso Lake: Meaning “Heavenly Lake” in Tibetan, it is one of Tibet’s three sacred lakes, with wide lake views and snow mountains in the distance. 

Northern Tibet Nomadic Life Experience: Visit a local herder’s home in northern Tibet, learn about their way of life, and experience the charm of Tibetan nomadic culture. 

Yangpachen Hot Spring: A famous geothermal hot spring area surrounded by highland scenery. 

Pass by Nagenla Pass: Enjoy the vast scenery of the northern Tibetan plateau.
